Synopsis Seven year old Serena receives gifts from her grandfather who has just returned from Japan. One of the gifts is a beautiful golden bookmark. She discovers the bookmark has magical powers...it makes books come alive. Serena is innocent of the battle between the Dark and the Light which is going on around her. Because of this conflict, she is transported to Tokyo where she has no idea how or why she is there and she must find her way home.
