Western, USA, 1935, 53 min.

Synopsis In Pequeno Valley, John Middleton gives up his chance to enter the Cheyenne rodeo when his father asks him to help their old friend Hank Mason. On the way to Mason's ranch, John is mistaken for an outlaw and arrested, but the sheriff, who knows John is innocent, enlists him as an undercover lawman to investigate the terrorists who have been attacking the local ranchers. During a raid, John meets Ann Mason, Hank's niece, and learns that Hank has been kidnapped. While John devises a plan to get the ranchers' cattle to market before Frank Carter, the banker, forecloses on their mortgages, gang member Joe Burns discovers John's identity and lays a trap for him. John is abducted by the gang and is held prisoner with Hank Mason. The gang rides off to attack the cattle drive, but John and Hank escape, and bring the sheriff and his posse in time to capture the outlaws and their leader, Butch Martin. John reveals that Martin is actually Frank Carter, who decided to force the rancher out when he learned from Hank that there was a gold field under the ranchlands. Hank and his wife Maria are reunited, and John stays to court Ann.
